The playoff picture is both coming along nicely and coming along insanely. A few weeks ago the story was the Edmonton Elks would miss, guaranteed. Now the race is on for the Elks. They must win their remaining games and either the Calgary Stampeders or Winnipeg Blue Bombers must lose their remaining games.
Week 20 Games
There are a full slate of games this week starting with the West Division leaders Saskatchewan Roughriders heading into Winnipeg on Friday to kick off the weekend. The Riders will be resting their starters as they have locked up hosting the West Final.
Next on Friday, it’s the Friday Night Football on TSN game with the Edmonton Elks heading to the west coast to face the BC Lions. The Elks are in must win territory and facing one of the hottest teams in the CFL.
For Saturday’s doubleheader it starts in Ottawa with the Alouettes de Montreal visiting and looking for the win to keep the pressure on for first place in the East. The REDBLACKS have been eliminated already and like the Argos will be playing for pride and contracts.
The last game of the week features the Toronto Argonauts heading west to the Stampede City and facing the Calgary Stampeders. The Stampeders are struggling. They have lost four straight games before last weeks win.
